On this show, I featured Powderpaint's newly released single "For Parts"! I really love Shonalika's voice, as with their first single "This Being". Her voice is so powerful, to me, it is "penetrating" in that I feel the lyrics and the melody, and I can relate to the song. Let us not forget the beautiful melody that goes with this voice. This band has probably one of the best synth players and composers in the world -- kudos to James! Sorry, doing reviews is not really my strength. I just expressed here what I feel deep down. The tracks I play on my show are tracks I love. I would never play anything I don't like on this show... and when the track makes it to this show, expect a lot of attention and promoting from me! :-) I just want to help as best as I can to get the artists recognized. Unfortunately, I made some boo-boos during the live show. I mentioned the wrong Mastodon instances for Powderpaint and James' accounts :-( I got Shonalika's right though.
