On this show, I featured Powderpaint's newly released single "For Parts"! I really love Shonalika's voice, as with their first single "This Being". Her voice is so powerful, to me, it is "penetrating" in that I feel the lyrics and the melody, and I can relate to the song. Let us not forget the beautiful melody that goes with this voice. This band has probably one of the best synth players and composers in the world -- kudos to James! Sorry, doing reviews is not really my strength. I just expressed here what I feel deep down. The tracks I play on my show are tracks I love. I would never play anything I don't like on this show... and when the track makes it to this show, expect a lot of attention and promoting from me! :-) I just want to help as best as I can to get the artists recognized. Unfortunately, I made some boo-boos during the live show. I mentioned the wrong Mastodon instances for Powderpaint and James' accounts :-( I got Shonalika's right though. So Powderpaint's Mastodon profile is @powderpaint@glitch.social and James' is @envgen@mastodon.social. Shonalika's is @shonalika@mastodon.art. Mastodon is a decentralized social media NOT owned by one all-powerful corporation and so expect all different kinds of instances within this collective system (called "Fediverse"). I have no issues with it. They are of course on Twitter as well -- @powderpaintband, @EnvGen & @ShonalikaTilak. I am very sure they will be delighted if you follow their accounts both on Mastodon and Twitter!
