my fish turned into humans!

I had a really weird dream last night. I dreamed two of my fish jumped out of the aquarium. I caught them and tried to place them back to the aquarium with much difficulty. A little bit later, both of them turned into humans, both were guys. One of them spoke and said they both wanted to get out of the aquarium, sort of like quitting their jobs as aquarium fish. I had no choice but to let them go and I cried and cried because I will miss them dearly. I woke up crying!

I guess the stress that I've been going through school is the cause of this really odd dream. I have been studying a lot in the past 2 or 3 weeks. I couldn't even go out with friends.

I have a mid-term exam on Mandarin in one and a half hour. Gotta go!

I stayed home all day just studying, watching TV once in a while, eat lunch and dinner, drank coffee, and browsed the web. Tomorrow I'll go to Mississauga to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family and relatives.

I have to let go of OS 9.

I bought a second hand electronic Japanese-English (and vice-versa) dictionary. It's so useful and handy. Price was not too bad. I'm happy with that.

Imelda

I went to see a Filipino documentary today at the theatre, "Imelda". It's about one of the most popular and controversial First Ladies in the world, Imelda Marcos, wife of the former president of the Philippines, Ferdinand E. Marcos. It's a great documentary and I really liked it. After watching the documentary, I really started having a different view of Imelda. I find her very amusing, and inspite of some of her weird idealogies ^ _ ^ she is really inspiring to me, in that she really tried hard to promote the Filipino culture and to make it recognized in the world. I thought she was just one crazy megalomaniac woman but I think she is not entirely one. She really tried hard to do good, make people happy, and make her people feel proud of themselves in the eyes of the others. She tried to be a role model for everyone. She placed a lot of stress on the importance of beauty, which is not too bad at all. However, sometimes, people do get carried away with the power and money in their hands and it's true for everyone. I think that we are all entitled to be glamorous and beautiful if we have the opportunity. These are the things I've learned from her today. It's a must see movie for Filipinos and for non-Filipinos alike.
