i'm so full... i went to chinatown for some dimsum lunch today with my japanese teachers and classmates... it was fun. there was somebody singing "our father" in the guys' washroom at work today... weird.

there's a protest in front of the city hall this afternoon, correctional workers complaining about stuff... i don't really care what they were complaining about... i was more worried about how my streetcar would go through the roadblock... i have stomachache... i don't know what i ate but it's been bugging me all day.

today i went to my usual language exchange group and then had coffee after with some new friends... i really enjoyed it... i was surprised that they read this blog and how much info they retained from it... i felt so important ^_^ 京子さん、和歌子さん、ひろみさん、Ｈｉ！！！＾＿＾ ありがとう！
I had a very interesting dinner last Thursday... my friend's mom visited toronto and treated me and her friends for a great authentic japanese cuisine... all i can say is - yummy, yummy, yummeeee..... she was so nice... i had shabu-shabu, hamaguri (clam), karei karaage (lightly fried flounder served with momi-ji-oroshi and ponzu dipping sauce), tempura, udon, sashimi, sushi and for dessert - wasabi icecream! Yes, wasabi icecream... it was my first time! i liked it but it's got an aftertaste and it wasn't very pleasant, but i enjoyed it... i was so full... and then my friend took her mom to a gay bar after... i hope she doesn't think toronto is famous for gay bars... hahaha... i like her because she's very open and youthful! she even wants me to call her by her first name which is contrary to japanese customs... えつこさん、木曜日、どうもありがとうございました！えみりさん、ありがとう！！

i just bought final fantasy ix inspite of my effort to reduce my spending... i just couldn't help it! i figured i will be very bored in the next few weeks without it as class is over for the year and work hasn't been calling me to come in... good-luck to me...

i haven't been working for two weeks now, basically there's not much work for me... i like and i don't like it... i like it because i don't want to work, i don't like it because i need the money .... anyhow, i woke up early today to watch the queen mother's funeral live... so that was 6 am here in toronto... i am so sleepy right now... i really like her... she reminds me so much of my grandma. i finished my class and then had chat with a school friend and talked about a lot of things about Asia and the Asian people... it was very interesting. i'm looking for a new job right now, i hope i get a better one... well, i like my job right now, it's just that i don't get that much hours any longer...

i hate the university financial aid office... i feel that the students are all treated like numbers here at the U of T because it's such a huge university... well.... i have no work for the whole week which is not really good since i need the hours for the money, but i'm trying to think positive here... i've been good because i've been studying, doing my errands, etc etc.... i wasted lots of time last weekend, big time.... i must have played final fantasy that whole time, which made me feel really bad because it brought me so behind with my studies.... i just couldn't defeat the main enemy in that game... anyway ...i'm tired... my neck and back hurt from standing up (i'm at the standing-only public access pc terminals in the university) and i'm starving.... i'm craving for vietnamese noodle soup (pho) .....
