Today was a very emotional day for me. It was a farewell party for my junior high school. I changed schools in April this year and they invited me to my last junior high school's farewell party. I have received two bouquets of flowers - one from the teachers and the PTA and one from the school's student council. I love them so much. The flowers make my room so pretty and they give such a very sweet flowery scent in my room which I always love... not only that... I have also received messages and gifts from the teachers and the PTA... today, they showed how much they liked me in that school... I will never forget them and the students... I do miss the teachers and the students there so much right now. This show of gratitude made me so much more encouraged to do more and to do my best in my new schools... Thank you so much.

It's cherry blossoms time again in Japan. I went to a hanami (cherry blossoms viewing) last week with the kids and parents at the three English clubs I taught for two years. I don't think I will go another hanami again this year.
I will be teaching in two new schools starting next week - one junior high school for four days a week and an elementary school every Friday. I got used to the variety of schools I used to get in the past three and a half years of my stay here in Japan. I hope everything goes well. It's the biggest junior high school here in my town. 25 percent or so of the students there already know me since I taught them when they were in elementary school so...
