So I went to Tokyo for Christmas (four days, three nights). It was fun! I went to Tokyo Disney Sea with my friends and I got onto the new Nozomi N700 bullet train. Going home was a bit chaotic since a lot of Japanese usually go home to their hometown for the New Year's holidays. So we stood on the train from Tokyo to Nagoya, for about an hour and a half.
I posted so many photos, about 270 of them onto my trial Mobile Me photo sharing site. Unfortunately my trial period is ending soon. I have decided to go for a different photo sharing site, Flickr. I've had this account for a while but it was a free account. I went for Pro. It's cheaper compared to Mobile Me, plus you get unlimited upload and storage with Pro for 1/3 of the price (USD 25). I really don't need any of Mobile Me's features other than the photo sharing. And, I've had problems with Mobile Me, for example, contacts in my address book that mysteriously disappear and so on.
I find Flickr a really good photo sharing site. I thought it was hard but it really wasn't. It is so simple uploading to your photo site if you have the Flickr exporter plugin for iPhoto which I bought for about 21 dollars CAD. It's a good program because it also takes photo captions from my iPhoto to my Flickr photo site. Not too bad. Flickr has improved a lot since my last use. I love its slideshow feature.
And then I decided to post my photos to my Facebook albums. I found this Flickr exporter plugin for iPhoto. It's free. Version 1.0.5 has so many flaws. It said that it would transfer my photo captions I already attached to the photos in my iPhoto but it didn't. I had to type the captions manually for each photo. It also has a Facebook member tag feature when you upload the photos but they didn't work most of the time. I had to tag the members manually after uploading the photos to my Facebook. Also, I got errors most of the time trying to upload the photos to my Facebook saying "unknown error". I think Facebook servers were really really busy. The workaround is that you have to keep trying until it goes through.

I caught a really bad cold. Everything tastes nothing! I just have to be a little patient. Only two more days of work left and after that is my Christmas holidays. I will be going to Tokyo, yay! I can't wait!
