I went to Pacific Mall with a friend today. It's a big Chinese mall in Markham, northern suburb of Toronto.
Inside, I saw the coolest karaoke box ever...
... then I had beef teriyaki bento. It was really good.

it's been so quiet around my place. my roommate S left for japan last saturday. i miss him.

as i was walking towards the subway station from work on saturday, i saw people gathering in front of the royal york hotel, downtown toronto... i saw people wearing traditional clothes. i recognized they were tibetans. so i went to find out what was going on and i realized the Dalai Lama has arrived Toronto and that he was coming to the hotel to stay. so i waited and finally saw the Dalai Lama in person. it was such a great experience for me! i thought i videotaped the Dalai Lama when he arrived but i accidentally deleted. thank God i took a photo of Him in it!

i just saw my friend M off at the airport today. i don't feel very sad because i will see her again in two months.
i went to school right after to study for my last "final exam" tonight. i've got so much to study. i'm so stressed out i've been getting stomach cramps intermittently.
i'm also stressed out because i realized last night i could not see my other friend and roommate S off at the airport as i work on saturdays. i am upset because i only realized it last night. i could've given enough notice to my boss. i can't take a day off that day as there's only me and another person working that day and that i've taken lots of days off already for my exams.

my friends and I gave two of my good friends a going-away dinner last night. they're both going back to japan. the guy is my roommate and the girl is also sort of like a roommate.
i will surely miss them. my apartment will never be the same.

Sorry, sorry, sorry for those few loyal people who read my blog... I haven't posted anything for more than a month... It was just plain laziness, being very busy at school and nothing very interesting to say.
My roommate is going back to Japan. At first, I was trying to get a new roommate but then I decided later on to move to a new place. This time I won't have a roommate. The place is entirely my own. I'll miss my roommate dearly though.
School is almost over. I only have one essay due tomorrow and one final exam on the 22nd and after that, I'll be free as a bird.
That's all for now. I gotta get back to my essay.
