somebody here in my area has his or her wireless internet base station left on with no password access and as a result, i could connect to the internet through him or her, for free! i only realized that today when i noticed that i had wireless signal even while i was at home and don't have one of those base stations. of course, i'm an honest individual (i think) so i try not to abuse it. in fact, i was trying to find out how i could talk to that particular person and tell him about it. obviously, he or she is a beginner, perhaps he or she didn't realize this but i couldn't figure it out. oh well.

oh my god... i finally got a bit of relief from school work. i handed in my essay in japanese today. it's a great relief!
it's been pretty bad in toronto now. there's a pneumonia epidemic spreading right now, dubbed as "SARS". At least three hospitals have been shutdown and the people inside quarantined. Anybody who was in contact with a SARS-infected person or have been in these hospitals from March 14 have been ordered by the government to be quarantined in their homes. It's so scary. Apparently, the virus started in Hong Kong, contracted by a doctor there and then flew to North America and died. I don't know the whole story.
So many bad things have been happening in the world - the war, the epidemic, the calamities, the building accidents in the US, etc etc... What's going on?

I had "kam-ja-tang" (sp? Korean spicy beef stew) for dinner with some friends. It was delicious. It will be another busy week for me. I feel like my mind's going to explode just thinking about the work ahead of me. Stop complaining, Gary.
It's been a very musical day for me today. I played an electric guitar for the first time today, thanks to my friend. It was great. I really liked it. I'm thinking of getting one for myself now. I also made an MD for a friend. It's a compilation I made in August last year. I called it "Spaghetti Ice Cream Delight - My All-Time Favourite 90's Alternative Tunes" and it includes The Flaming Lips, Smoking Popes, Matthew Sweet, Dinosaur Jr., Throwing Muses, Tripping Daisy, Eric's Trip, Sonic Youth, The Posies, Spell, Pavement, Jawbreaker, to name a few.

the war has started. i skipped the last half of my class last night and go home so i could study but instead, i found myself hooked to CNN watching the live coverage of the war against saddam. as soon as i heard the US-led coalition are aiming to assassinate Saddam, i felt sorry for him all of a sudden. i hate him but i don't like people being killed, no matter how criminal a person is.

i think i've been experiencing the busiest time of my life... i've never been this busy before. i don't even have time to surf the web anymore. i primarily use the internet for e-mail, which I use mostly for school-related stuff, and doing my homework online. sad, isn't it? i wish i wasn't working so i could concentrate on my studies, but i have to work to earn money, hell, it's not even enough. i'm so exhausted. when will this end?
