A friend told me I look like Uchida Yuki.... I look like a girl! We laughed of course... I wasn't offended... I took it as a compliment because she said she's cute... yeah okay! ^_^
I was able to fix my friend's Japanese Windows ME but when I reinstalled it, Windows would not detect the modem... We tried everything... I must be doing something wrong. I was quite disappointed... but he's glad he can now type Japanese characters. I was very busy this weekend... It was a very special and interesting weekend for me.

I just got home... I went downtown to have dinner with friends at Sushi Time where another friend works. I was so happy to see her. Then we went to have some drinks at a Korean bar at "Korean town" in Toronto and then I helped my friend install his Japanese Windows ME in his computer because he couldn't type in Japanese... the poor guy's Japanese and is forced to type roumaji to his friends and relatives in Japan.
I only have two weeks left in my full-time job and then I'm off to a new adventure... I've always had a full-time job since 94 when I first started working... I'm gonna be a student again... I'm both nervous and excited... nervous because I feel unsecured, excited because I'm opening a new chapter in my life... Sometimes I wonder whether or not I've done the right decision.... but you know, I need a new life... I want new adventures... Sometimes good things come in surprises.

Green tea and ice cream together is the best! I love ginger ice cream! I can only find it in Japanese restaurants... so I'm having maple walnut instead... argh.

I am so lazy today. I want to stay home. I'm so tired. I have to go out to pick disposable contact lens but I don't want to do it. There's a new bubble tea place downtown and it's huge! I have to do my e-mail. I'm really behind...

Today I had dinner at my favourite Japanese restaurant Ema Tei. They serve the best Japanese food in town... The restaurant is quite hidden from major streets so not a lot of people know the place. You'll find mostly Japanese dining in this restaurant. I had kawa yakitori, Japanese style fried rice (beef charhan I think), eggplant and others whose names I forgot... I hate it when I forget the names of the food I eat... Where's my bed? (yawn)... need some sleep.

Yay! My finals are done! I am so happy. I felt nauseous just before the exam. I felt like I was going to throw up only because I was so nervous. I didn't prepare much for this exams but I think I did well. I am so tired.

My computer is still down so I pretty much do all my computer stuff either at school or at work. It sucks. I went to Montréal last weekend. It was okay... but it wasn't as interesting and as fun as my previous visits. I did a lot of walking. I was a tourist... but the best part was I got there by plane... yay! That was only the second time I've been on an airplane. I need to travel more I guess. It has been a very emotional week for me. I decided to end a friendship which I've really tried to keep as long as I could. Unfortunately, it hasn't been working out. I'm sad and hurt. I've been spending a lot of time studying. I have my finals coming up next week. I'm quite nervous.
