So I just had a birthday. I took a vacation day from work since I also had a doctor's appointment. After 24 years of going to the same family doctor, I have finally switched to a different one today. I just had so much complaints about my previous family doctor. He is very close to retirement and he just does not seem to care anymore. It had always been very difficult to get an appointment with him. Actual interactions with him never lasted more than 5 minutes. It had always been like this and I just thought it was normal... until I went to a different one today. I have realized today that I should have switched family doctor a long time ago. I felt neglected... and this is why I have been suffering with so many health problems now. This new family doctor is awesome -- young, full of energy and caring of his patients. His office was so clean and he looked very presentable... totally opposite of my previous family doctor.

... anyway...

I then treated myself with some Chinese food for lunch then went to buy stuff for home. I also bought some lottery tickets hoping I win something since it was my birthday and that it could be my lucky day. So far, I have won 6 bucks from the scratch-and-win I bought. I am just waiting for the big lottery draw. The winning numbers should be posted by now.

... went home... made a couple of phone calls to the dentist's and then to the government... I hate going to the dentist's. I haven't been to my dentist's for a very long time. I had a dream last night that I was wearing dentures on top of my own teeth... I found that very weird. It prompted me to call my dentist to make an appointment. LOL.

My brother and his girlfriend then gave me this awesome and super cool birthday present. A book that is not really a book but some bound reading material mimicking Elliot's journal in my favourite TV drama series Mr. Robot. I just love it. What a very creative piece of work.

I also received this really cute gif. I actually received the same gif from 3 different people from Facebook. Everyone knows I love cats and I love DJing... so it was just perfect and I love it!

... Dinner time. My Mom and my brother then took me to my favourite Japanese restaurant in the city and we had sashimi, sushi, sabashioyaki and agedashidofu. I was so stuffed I got sick after eating. LOL. The food was great! I was actually in the same restaurant just last Saturday with a friend.

A part of me wants to take good care of myself but a part of me still wants to do some harm. I am very confused of which one to listen to.
